𝐈𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 Chess Federation of Sri Lanka 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐚 𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎

With the collaboration of FIDE and Checkmate Coronavirus initiative, Chess Federation of Sri Lanka organizing the Inaugural CFSL Checkmate Corona virus Chess Championship 2020. The event will be held on 30th May 2020 from 08.00 pm onwards at 𝒘𝒘𝒘.𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒔.𝒄𝒐𝒎 website. Results of the event will be sent to FIDE for selecting the winners. Nevertheless, CFSL will offer medals for the top three players and certificates up to top 10 places on its behalf. This is an exclusive event for the Sri Lankan Players.

From FIDE, There will be at least 1500 special prizes, and all of them are to be distributed not among those who score most points, but among winners of the random draw (raffle). Inspired by the Olympic Creed (not to win but to take part), we give a winning chance to everyone and reward involvement and participation. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒋𝒐𝒓 𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒛𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒂𝒕 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 64 𝒐𝒏𝒆-𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒌 𝒊𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 2021 𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑶𝒍𝒚𝒎𝒑𝒊𝒂𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝑴𝒐𝒔𝒄𝒐𝒘.

Inaugural CFSL Checkmate Corona virus Chess Championship 2020 will play as Swiss System, Blitz (3+2 time control) with 09 rounds with. You can join the event by following mentioned below. You just need to sign up for the event. It’s totally free.
