Ethugalpura International Rated Chess Championship - 2019

 At the end of another exciting day of chess in Sri Lanka, L M S T De Silva of Sri Lanka was crowned the winner of the 2019 Ethugalpura International Rated Chess Tournament. Despite starting the day under the weather, he scored 9  points  out of 10 games, netting an impressive 90.8  total Elo points. He is the Youngest Fide Master of Sri Lanka. during the tournament he was unbeaten, he only drew against the  Fide Master Chinthaka Anuruddha Galappaththi and A A C B Amarasinghe. Candidate Master Chandana Wijekoon Manage to secure 2nd place while A A C B Amarasinghe placed third.

• The Title players (GM, WGM, IM, WIM, FM, and WFM)  and haying a rating above 2000 ELO are Free.
• Rating Category 1800-2000 - Rs. 1,500.00
• Rating Category below 1800 - Rs. 2,000.00
• Rating Category' below 1600 - Rs. 3.000.00
• Unrated -  Rs. 4,000.00

All Amounts are in Sri Lankan Rupees
The registration deadline will be will charge be 23rd of  November 2019. after that Rs. 500 rupees will be charged as late entry fees.
