The intention of organizing this chess tournament is to provide a platform for youngsters all around the country to discover their talents in chess and to upgrade their current performance through practice to achieve better results in the upcoming provincial and national level chess events,

Chess Tournament Schedule:
- Under 07 Boys -09.00am, 13th of October
- Under 09 Boys -08.00am, 12th of October
- Under 07 Girls - 09.00am, 12th of October
- under 09 Girls - 08.00am, 13th of October
- Under 11/13/15 Sections will be started on 12th of October at 08.00am.
Chess Tournament Details:
The Chess tournament will be organized as an Individual Chess Event. There will be 05 main age Categories separately for girls & Boys,Under 07(below 2012)
Under 09(2010 - 201 1)
Under 1 1 (2008 2009)
Under 13(2006 - 2007)
Under 15 Open (2004 /2005)
The Age Groups will be calculated to 01.01.2019
- Time Control - 2 hours per Game.
- An Entry Fee of 800/= Rupees will be charged from each player.
- The chief arbiter's decision will be the final.
Registration
Official Registration will be on the 11th of October at the Berrawaerts Royal College -Ampitiya at 04.00 PM onwards,
Prizes
- Champion - Trophy + Gold Medal + Certificate
- 1st Runner Up - Silver Medal + Certificate
- 2nd Runner Up - Bronze Medal + Certificate
- 4th to 1 0th Will be awarded Merit(Medal + Certificate)
- All the participants will be given a participated certificate. For Under 1 5 Open Section - Prizes will be awarded separately for Girls & Boys.
