Sri Lanka Junior National Chess Championship 2019

FIDE Master (FM) Minul Sanjula Doluweera and Women's FIDE Master (WFM) Dasuni Hansika Mendis being crowned men’s and women's junior national chess champions respectively.

S Sivathanujan from Kokuvil Hindu College - Jaffna won the second place and Candidate Master Isara Banindu Dhanayake Manage To Secure 3rd place in the boy's section

(FM) Minul Sanjula Doluweera

Women Candidate Master G P Y Wijesooriya of Visakha Vidyalaya - Colombo 05 wins the second place in the girl's section. Minethma Lasandi Wickramasinghe of Sujatha Vidyalaya - Matara secure third place with impressive +50 elo points.

The Tournament was held on the 29th of August to the 1st of September at Sanhinda Reception Hall, Delkanda, Nugegoda.

This Tournament Was Organized by the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka.
